Webinar: Inherited Cancer Risk – Genetic Testing for Lynch Syndrome
On Monday, January 27 at 3PM ET, join Curriculum Specialist Rose Chaffee-Cohen as she introduces our newest Learning Lab, Inherited Cancer Risk: Genetic Testing for Lynch Syndrome. In this gel electrophoresis lab, students perform genetic testing on members of a fictional family to identify whether they carry a mutation associated with increased cancer risk. Extensions on the mechanisms of cancer development and bioethics make this an adaptable lesson that works in a myriad of classroom settings!
This 45-minute webinar is free and open to the public. Students, teachers, and the general public are all welcome to participate!
